
 Trinity is located in the suburban community of Bexley within the capital city of Columbus, Ohio. Interstate highways 70 and 71 intersect within 3 miles of the campus. This "crossroads location" creates diverse opportunities for students. Located within 550 miles of more than half of the nation's population, Columbus is less than one day's drive for many US residents. Columbus offers an international airport, located three miles from the seminary, and Greyhound bus service. Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) buses pass the seminary twice hourly, seven days a week.

With an economic base in the banking, insurance, research and information induestries, the growing economy of Columbus offers varied employment possibilities for part-time and full-time work for seminary families.
In Columbus you'll find modern high-rises and historic, restored neighborhoods; contemporary and classical visual and performing arts; a variety of entertainment, restaurant, and shopping districts; and a developing reputation as a center of world-class athletics.
No matter what your interest, Columbus has the activities and resources for you. The city claims an outstanding symphony orchestra, ballet and acting companies, and a thriving arts district in the area known as the "Short North." An exciting array of museums include the Wexner Center for the Arts, Columbus Museum of Art, the Ohio Historical Center and Ohio Village, and the Center of Science and Industry (COSI). For animal lovers, there is the renowned Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Plant enthusiasts should certainly visit the Franklin Park Conservatory.
If you like sports, Columbus is the place to be as new major league teams make their home in Columbus. The Crew, Columbus' major league soccer team, has one of the highest attendance rates in the league. In the fall of 2000, the Columbus Bluejackets took the ice as the city's first NHL hockey team at the new Nationwide Arena.
Eleven universities and colleges are located in or near Columbus,
including the giant Ohio State University, Otterbein College, Franklin
University, Wittenberg University, Ohio Dominican College and Columbus
State Community College. Just across the street from Trinity is
Capital University, a fully accredited university of the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in America, offering a complete liberal arts curriculum
with graduate schools of business, law and nursing.
Capital University's library collection is available to Trinity students and staff. Nearby public libraries include the Bexley Public Library and the Columbus Metropolitan Library. The State Library of Ohio, the Ohio Historical Society library, and the libraries of The Ohio State University, are also available.
Columbus and Central Ohio also are home to more than 700 congregations, 86 of which are members of the ELCA. Affordable housing and some of the best public school systems in the state make Columbus a great place to live, learn and call home.
