The
Christ the Teacher Society
Everyone who makes a planned gift to Trinity is invited to join
Trinity’s planned giving honorary society, The Christ the Teacher
Society.
The Christ the Teacher Society is named for the Christ the Teacher
sculpture designed by William Schickel and located in Trinity’s
interior courtyard. Christ the Teacher Society members share a vision
of Jesus as teacher as they support the teaching ministry of Trinity
Lutheran Seminary through their planned gifts.
The names of Christ the Teacher Society members (unless they prefer
to remain anonymous) are listed in Trinity’s Annual Report. Members
and other interested persons also receive free information about
planned giving by means of a newsletter and periodic seminars on
financial planning sponsored by the seminary. All members are invited
to and recognized at an annual appreciation dinner.
In addition, all Christ the Teacher Society members over 60 years
of age are eligible to audit one course each term free of charge.
For information about planned giving opportunities and the Christ
the Teacher Society, contact Jane A. Kirchhoff, Director of Development
and Gift Planning Management.
